Although there are now over 16 million vehicles on the roads today, the average age of an Australian car is still around 10 years old. So that means that there are 8 million cars on the road that are 10 years old or older.

Ford and Holden both moved to Fuel Injected models in the mid 80’s. Ford released the XF Falcon in 1984 with optional throttle body or multi-point fuel injection.

Fuel Injection was introduced on Commodores with the release of the VL model in 1986.
